The 7:15 Morning Train

College was nearly forty kilometers from my hometown.
Every morning began before sunrise.
While most of my friends lived in hostels or rented apartments near campus, I spent almost three hours commuting every day.
At first, I hated it.
The crowded railway station.
The endless waiting.
The rush to catch the train.
The exhaustion of traveling back and forth.
Every day felt repetitive.
Every morning looked exactly the same.
Or at least it did until the day I noticed her.
She boarded at the second station.
Always carrying the same navy-blue backpack.
Always holding a book.
Always standing near the same compartment door.
For weeks, she remained nothing more than a familiar face in a crowd of strangers.
Yet somehow, every morning I found myself looking for her before looking for an empty seat.
Without realizing it, she had already become part of my routine.
