Every student in our final year feared one thing.

Project allocation day.

The day professors randomly assigned teams for the most important academic project of our college life.

Friendships were tested.

Arguments happened.

Everyone secretly hoped to be paired with people they already knew.

I was no different.

The day finally arrived.

Hundreds of students filled the exhibition hall.

Pressure felt overwhelming.

Yet standing beside her gave me confidence.

We worked as a team.

Supported each other.

That evening we celebrated with friends.

A few weeks before graduation, we found ourselves on the rooftop terrace of our academic block.

The campus looked beautiful from above.

Students walked between buildings.

Sports activities continued in the distance.

The setting sun painted everything gold.

For a while we simply sat there quietly.

Then she asked a question.

I thought about classes.

Graduation arrived exactly as everyone promised.

Standing in my graduation gown, surrounded by classmates, I felt proud.
