The Student Who Was Always Late
If there was an award for arriving late to class, I would have won it every semester.
No matter how many alarms I set, I somehow managed to rush into classrooms seconds before professors closed attendance.
My friends joked that being late was part of my personality.
Unfortunately, my notes reflected that habit.
Half-complete lectures.
Missing explanations.
Unfinished diagrams.
When exams approached, I constantly found myself borrowing notes from classmates.
Most people reluctantly helped.
Some ignored my requests completely.
Then there was her.
The girl who sat three rows ahead of me.
The girl whose notebooks looked more organized than most textbooks.
The girl who never complained when I asked for help.
At the time, she was simply a kind classmate.
I had no idea she would eventually become the most important part of my college life.
