The Goodbye At The Railway Station
Neither of us expected life to change that morning.
The platform was crowded.
Announcements echoed through the station.
Passengers hurried toward departing trains.
Everything felt normal.
Except us.
She had accepted a job opportunity in another country.
A dream she had worked toward for years.
A dream I was incredibly proud of.
Yet standing beside her luggage, pride and sadness felt impossible to separate.
We kept smiling.
Kept pretending we were okay.
But every passing minute made reality harder to ignore.
Soon she would leave.
Soon thousands of kilometers would exist between us.
Soon our relationship would depend on something stronger than proximity.
Trust.
Patience.
Effort.
And love.
As her train slowly disappeared from view, I realized a completely new chapter of our story had begun.
