A Song On Repeat
Before I met her, music was just background noise.
Something I listened to while working.
Something that filled silence.
Nothing more.
Then she entered my life.
And suddenly songs became memories.
Every road trip had a playlist.
Every late-night drive had a soundtrack.
Every happy moment somehow found its way into music.
There was one particular song she loved.
A simple acoustic track.
Nothing extraordinary.
Yet she played it constantly.
In her car.
At home.
While studying.
While cooking.
Eventually I started loving it too.
Not because of the lyrics.
Because every time it played, it meant she was nearby.
At the time, I never imagined a song could eventually break my heart.
